Technologies employed for SMS banking

The PIBAS SMSB system works as an add-on product and have the capability to interfaces with the bank’s existing host system. The PIBAS SMSB system is more advanced SMS banking systems that is built to be able to work in any host banking environment; and have active database mechanism which allows messaging triggered from existing banking host system using industry or defacto standards.

PIBS SMS banking system provides a robust control environment and a flexible and scalable operating environment. The solution is able to connect seamlessly to multiple available SMS Center (SMSC) operators in the country of operation. Depending on the volume of messages that are require to be pushed, means to connect to the SMSC SMSB.

PIBAS SMSB uses simple GSM modem to connect to SMSC that reduces Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) remarkably.

Interfaces with Bank’s Host System (T-24, Misys, others):

PIBAS SMSB has the capability to interface with any Host System of the bank. The architecture of PIBAS SMSB interface is designed on active database mechanism. This mechanism enables the real time intimation to the bank’s subscribed customers, about all activities in the their account(s) through ATM, Cash Counter, Clearing, Internet banking, Transfers, Remittances in addition to profit disbursement, taxes and charges, etc.
